SharePoint Online

SharePoint  is an Enterprise Document Management System. SharePoint Online is a cloud hosting platform provided by Microsoft. SharePoint is also available in an On-Premise version. Depending on the Organization one may be better than the other. We can assist you in Deciding which one will be best for your Organization

Flat Structure: SharePoint Online is moving away from Hierarchical Sites and Sub-site Structure into a Flat structure where every sites is a site collection in order to better manage the restructuring and security. We can assist in migrating from the Hierarchical to Flat structure with Logical Hierarchy

Communication Sites: Sites that are not associated with Teams and can be used for creating documentation hierarchy.

Team Sites: Sites that have an associated Mailbox, SharePoint and Teams Channel.

OneDrive

Synchronization: Synchronize your data onto the OneDrive, This helps prevent data loss due to the disk corruption, lost or stolen laptop etc.

Offline Access: You can work offline on the files without internet connectivity, The content will get synchronized once you connect back online

Collaboration: Allows for internal and external collaboration using messaging, meetings and files sharing all at the same time.

Messaging: Allows for individual, group and department messaging

Channels: Allows for communication in a separate channel that can be created for focused discussions
